The Nottinghamshire Police Federation Insurance Scheme has been reviewed and I am pleased to enclose the new Scheme Benefits booklet, Travel Insurance Policy booklet providing full details and a handy summary card containing useful telephone numbers. There have been a number of improvements to the scheme. These include:- 1. Denplan Key Dental Cover. This provides the member and covered spouse/partners with Emergency and Injury dental treatment anywhere in the world (including your current dentist). Full details can be found in the enclosed scheme benefit booklet on pages 6 and 7. 2. Introduction of a new Emergency Home Assistance cover. This cover will provide call-out and costs (subject to limits) of an approved tradesman to provide assistance for certain domestic incidents. Full details can be found on page 8 and 9 of the Scheme Benefits booklet. 3. The Identity Theft Protection provider has been moved to ARAG plc and the limits of indemnity have been increased. 4. The single trip limit under the travel policy has been extended from 30 days to 31 days. In order to modernise the scheme by making the above changes it has been necessary to increase member subscriptions from £18.60 to £19.75 and for Spouse/Partners from £6.30 to £6.80. Hopefully you will agree that the significant increase in benefits is worth the relatively small increase in subscriptions. Changes to deductions will automatically be made from September. Please pay particular attention to the section on page 2 & 3 of the travel policy, headed Medical Conditions and Health Warranty. Please do not rely on declarations previous made. Please keep these documents in a safe place and take the travel policy on holiday with you.
